Love how Apollo is holding is hands out as if to say “Come close good serpent, there is no need for violence, let us resolve this situation through mutual understanding” while Artemis looks as if she’s squaring up to fight the serpent right there and then.

How do they know it’s a copy of a Greek original? Just based on the subject of the sculpture?
