Badass. I wonder what it sold for. It’s only like 45 min from my house.
That’s the most metal thing ever. Literally painting a skull on your helmet while sitting in a wet, muddy & cold trench with the everpresent scent & threat of death. There’d (unfortunately) be plenty of skulls around for a reference while painting.
