These are great, would love to see them in person some day. Always particularly liked the Philip II bust. I know Caracalla was obsessed with Alexander, but I feel like you can tell there is some kind of visual allusion going on between Philip and himself, with the scowling furrowed brow and what not.
Just noticing this now, why does it say ‘Alexandrou/y’ or ‘of Alexander’ on the Philippos II medallion? Rude.
(while the others seemingly just Alexandros)
