The Viking-age Vårby Hoard was discovered in 1871, under a large boulder in Vårby, Södermanland, Sweden. This impressive treasure contains objects from the whole of the known world at the time. The youngest coin from the hoard dates to c. 940 A.D. (2048×2778)
