Upper part of a distillator/alembic, made of glass. Cyprus, unclear dating [starting at the 6th c. BCE, possible terminus ante quem 7th c. CE]. Housed in the Cyprus museum [1500 x 1470]

I had a problem with the dating of the object. Its own sign says nothing; a sign behind on the wall is giving ‘vessels of colored glass 6th – 1st c. BCE’ [check [here](https://www.flickr.com/photos/meckleychina/52770711689/) ]; with this agrees a russian article for the museum in [https://think-head.livejournal.com/749987.html](https://think-head.livejournal.com/749987.html) , where other artifacts are dated correctly. However the object has next to it [down left] a sign for another object of the Roman period, while I thinik that I’ve seen relevant web posts for the Roman period. In the end the description in [here](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Arheologicheski-Perfume.jpg) reads: ‘Glass alembic for distilling perfume. Early Byzantine period (ca. 6th-7th c. A.D.).’ The Roman period in Cyprus included the 7th c.
