The blood-stained chair which Naser al-Din Shah died on (1 May 1896). The fourth Qajar king, who ruled for half a century, was assassinated while visiting the Shah Abdol-Azim Shrine near Tehran, and died on this chair at the Golestan Palace when royal companions brought him there.
