I am pretty sure you already made a RWBY gif about the Stonewall riots a month or two back.

I’ve never seen or heard anyone of any age insist that non-heterosexual people didnt exist back in their day. Boomers or otherwise.

    4. In the UK there’s a city called Brighton which is unofficially referred to as the “Gay Capital of the UK” and that’s because of stuff that has been ongoing since the 1920s. I think it was the 70s that the city became the hub for the Gay Liberation Front? And that’s just the last 100 years, which is pretty recent history.

Anyway all that to say that anyone who claims queer people didn’t exist back in the day has not only neglected actual recorded history from before their lives, but a significant amount of history from a time they physically lived through. They just chose to ignore it. Or more likely took a stance against it because they’ve always blindly hated whatever groups their leaders tell them to. They just think it didn’t exist because they’re incapable of actually remembering anything before what they’ve been told to remember about Obama.

I hate when people don’t know what Stonewall is. You know what I mean? That was fighting for gay rights and people were killed.

Yet, they all loved Tom Hanks in the show Bosom Buddies. Where Tom and his buddy pretended to be women to get decent rent in an apartment.

    8. Didn’t you know, Obama invented LGBTQ people when he became president and spiraled the world into degeneracy and wokeness?/j

    9. The reason they didn’t exist openly was because of societal and legal pressure and this had disastrous consequences. The reason why there’s so much people who hide it was because of this. It was only around 2015 especially with Obgerfell vs Hodges we finally started to see acceptance but sadly it seems people are turning their backs once again just as it finally had been accepted.

Wasn’t a big part of the riot that the NYPD had historically looked the other way, such that the raid was seen as a violation of a social contract?

I guess Greenwich village and the Village people didn’t fucking exist either.
