That is some sleppy (sleepy) hallow headless horseman shit right there
it is actually more common than you think that this happens.
The tree’s center is often decayed and left with a buildup of oil and other combustible material; when electricity passes through, the temperature rises to the point of combustion and gets the point of your picture.
Nice try. I’ve seen stranger things, I know where that leads.
Go in and see what it looks like
It’s unsettling how lightning can turn a living tree into something that looks like it’s smoldering from the inside out. Nature can look almost supernatural sometimes.
