It sounded different because Mojo had never said “hey Dickheads, open the door and let me out I don’t feel good” before. Nothing to do with tying to alert his family, because, cat.
Might it have meowed in a way they’ve never heard before because it’s obviously not the same cat in the two photos? Mojo alerted the family by becoming a different cat.
The other day, my kitty saved my dog and I from a ferocious cockroach, by meowing in a manner I didn’t recognize.
I never knew CO could turn a cat into an entirely different cat.
