The unwillingness of most western countries to distinguish between socialism and militarist communism is frankly baffling, especially given the significant amount of socialism-friendly policies that are ***already*** implemented in many of these countries, particularly the U.S.

It’s the terminology itself that continues to be a bogeyman, hamstringing societal progress mostly because of semantics.

      What a world.

We should start calling “social democracy”(lame) as “freedom-mcliberty-Ronald-Reagan-cool beer-and-4th-of-july” (cool) as it will make muricans think it’s the most American alternative

    4. That the Nordic countries are socialist is some American MAGA nonsense, uttered out of pure envy that the US is on its ass and the Nordics are doing well.

    5. American trying to grasp functional goverment and actual democracy.

And also being informed about real liberties like allemansrätten.
