A HUGE part of the problem in Texas is that for decades Texas Democrats have been convinced by GOP propaganda, and the mass media that Texas is a red state, so they stay home. But in Texas, Democrats outnumber Republicans by a fairly large amount. If only 8 percent of Democrats who stayed home during the last Senate race would’ve come out to vote Ted Cruz would’ve been defeated. Similar numbers for the Governor’s race as well.
The Dems are terrible at messaging, but Talarico seems different.
This should be a slam dunk, but what do I know? I didn’t think there was any way someone as awful and as stupid as Trump could win, and here we are.
