I believe this is a way of expressing that there’s something very wrong with the country right now.

I feel same way. A convicted sex offender is our President. So ever since everyone in this country looked past all the rape and thought he’d actually keep his word. Ill probably be labeled as undocumented and put in an ice camp. Hes so egotistical I bet he spies on everyone’s phone. Like full access. The level of control they have and still call us free is laughable at this point…the truly free are the ones who dont have to work their lives away. They can earn enough to also enjoy life. BILLIONAIRES have the control . A half of a percent of the population (idk guessing )control billions. How? And Americans are armed like its ww3 so if they keep pushing the levy gonna break

We did this during his first term. Someone stole it. They left our pride flag though.

That’s the correct way at the moment.

That’s usually done to express disapproval of the current government or something similar. Same thing happened when the Dutch government was planning on implementing a bunch of new rules on farmers. I live in the countryside so pretty much everyone was flying their flag upside down. It went on for so long that I thought a flag was upside down when it was actually flying the right way up and I genuinely had to think for a sec about what the right order of colors was again 😅

I’ve been doing this for a couple of years myself. My Republican neighbor across the street came over and knocked on my door to ask if I knew my flag was upside down. I simply said “yes.” She looked at me quizzically, said “OK,” and then walked back across the street.

When I was in middle school it was my job to raise the flag. For those not in the know, an upside down flag is a sign of distress. One day I raised the flag upside down. Apparently the local fire department took it very seriously and either called the school or dropped by just to make sure nothing serious was happening and it was a sort of discreet way to notify someone on the outside.

In Oklahoma, my wife has noticed a lot of our Republican neighbors have stopped flying their Flags and even some Republican people she talks to don’t seem to bring up politics anymore and not necessarily out of respect for my wife being a Democrat. They have probably finally realized what a megalomaniac psycho is in office that has no concern for anyone but himself

I live in rural Georgia and was shocked to see a guy down the street with his flag the same way. It’s good to see that not everyone is on board with the orange asshole.

This just gives me anxiety. I learned this as a signal distress…but I understand that when you see this now it’s someone expressing their political thought…but damned if when I see this I don’t wonder if there is ACTUALLY someone seeking some sort of help and it’s just getting ignored.

I’ve flown a flag since 1998 when I bought my house, I keep it lit so it can fly proudly 24/7. I took it down the day DJT took office. Hopefully it will fly again soon!!!

Pretty much the only way an actual patriot would fly that flag given the circumstances.

The entire country is in distress and will probably be until Trump leaves, possibly longer if we’re going to fix what he mucked up
