      Always has been?

I mean all humankind history is like circle what repeats itself no matter what

Are you ok son? No I have been brainwashed by 24 hour news and social media to believe my amazingly fortunate life is total shit

I bring to you advise that helped me, it is not exactly correct or universal advise, but it helped me. It is a quote, and one that may make things worse or better depending on who you are.

“The literal meaning of life is what ever your doing that prevents you from killing yourself”
      -Albert Camus

I have not looked further into Camus, nor will I. I value this one quote, not everything attached.

    7. I challenge you to complete Minecraft in vr with the RLcraft modpack. There you go, now you have a reason to live (No kidding, I said this to myself a while ago in a more negative way to “earn the right to suicide” and the manipulation fucking worked!)

    8. Or… and bare with me on this… just turn off your phone? Every single person I’ve ever met with this mindset is so chronically online its insane.

There has been shitty stuff going on in the world your entire life, and everyones life before you. The only thing that changed was how much time people spend online seeing it

    9. Misery is profitable. Disconnect from the internet and touch grass. Things aint that bad.

    10. I know you probs don’t want advice, but the only thing that helps me is finding something to look forward to. New album from artist, event I want to go to, new season of my fav tv show, etc. Once you find one thing to look forward to, you can find another.

“Turn off your phone” that doesn’t mean everything isn’t happening, it just means you don’t know what’s happening behind your back.

“Turning off your phone” is just enabling the evil people to keep doing evil shit. Stay informed. Ignorance may be bliss, but knowledge is power.

My grandfather got World War 1 on his dance card. He got back from France followed by the Spanish Flu that wiped out his family. Then he won the Great Depression followed by a lovely thing called World War 2, then The Cold War crawled up everyone’s ass and fucked with hundreds of millions. Everybody has it tough

The dad in Boy meets World raised 3 kids and adopted his sons best friend, sent them to college and lived in a nice ass house. He was a grocery store clerk.

    15. Do new things! Somethinf that has made my life so much happier in this last year is getting into new music, games, books, like I never went to concerts until last year and now its one of the things that genuinely makes me so happy i have like 6 shows lined up, just do what makes you happy and you’ll be happy, and if you don’t have anything go find it

    16. mjtt_downing on

All of the least depressed people i know have a few things in common. 1.) They have jobs or tasks they find meaningful. 2.) They have built resilience through supportive relationships and activities they enjoy. 3.) They still have something to strive for. 4.) They have a relationship with God who they know loves them more intensely than they love and serve Him by loving and serving others in some way; which gives their lives meaning. 5.) The ones that have a bed make it almost every day.

Idk man I just had a fried catfish dinner in New Orleans and I kind of want to live long enough to eat more fried food in New Orleans.

Yeah bud, you have it the worst.

We should go back to the 1910s, 1920s, or 1930s, or 1940s, or 1950s, or 1960s, or 1970s, or 1980s.

    19. Firm-Profession5111 on

No, everything was always fucked already. You just know more about it now.

I recommend listening to some „behind the bastards“. Great podcast about the most evil and fucked up people throughout human history.

Video games, beautiful women, alcohol, supercharged V8s… There’s plenty to live for brothers and sisters.

Now we live for spite. To outlast the bastards. To piss on graves. To write this all down for the future.

Don’t lose hope. Hope is all we have to continue forward. If you lose hope, you have nothing. I know it’s hard, and I know it seems bleak, but you have to hope there’s a better tomorrow.

    24. spitemods_54 on

It really do feel like that sometimes. If I let myself I go into a spiral thinking about how I’ll probably never be able to afford a house, how social security/Medicare will probably be non-existent when I’m old enough to retire, etc, etc.

I hate the old fucks who ruined this country and our planet
