Data Source:
Data collected through an online survey conducted at OpenPublicPolls.com.
Sample size: N = 100 adults.
Participants answered questions about career advice preferences (“follow your passion” vs. “prioritize money”), career satisfaction, and demographics.
Analysis conducted using SPSS. Visualization created using Excel/graphic editing tools. A two-way ANOVA showed a main effect due to type of advice (“Follow your passion” vs “Prioritize money”) and an interaction between gender and type of advice. Gender was non-significant (men and women did not differ significantly, overall, with regard to their level of career satisfaction).
Note: Results are correlational and should not be interpreted as causal.

Feel like presenting this as a binary isn’t really accurate to how people make these decisions. Feels like most people i know form a balancing act of the two.
