      After France was liberated from Nazi Germany occupation, some French women accused of relationships with German soldiers were publicly humiliated, including having their heads shaved.

      On one hand it was bad, on the other most men who openly collaborated with the nazis faced more brutal and swift punishments.

      Not only fwnce, that happened all over Europe. It’s widely known in Norway too. Theres even a slur for it: “Tyskertøs” (Germanslut) Many of them were also shunned, and ran out of the country to live with their German boyfriends. Sometimes they went off to Germany, only to find that the men they had produced children with, were already married in Germany

      It was a common practice throughout all of Europe. AK did it to women sleeping with the Germans in Poland as early as 1941

      Mob justice sucks most of the time. Nobody outside the law would give a fuck why they did it – they did so, so now they become a legal toy to release frustuations out on it.

      Hey, we have that brazil’s favelas! But generally the reasons for cutting the hair are all related to commiting ‘crimes’ to the drug traffic.
