    1. Rape. She raped the five kids, NYP. Stop using the word “sex” to downplay her crime.

Should be “accused of statutory rape and child abuse” with a fucking mug shot not this happy smiling bullshit.

NYP is no better than the National Inquirer at this point. These folks downplaying predatory behavior is beyond crazy. It’s been normalized to them from larceny, profiteering, trafficking, molestation, and r^pe. Using incorrect words to intentionally and selectively miscategorize crime and abuse for some is nasty fkn work.

Plainly framing the worst behaviors as passable if they’re not a person of color.

It’s a very common pattern. A new stereotype is about to be born with a certain demographic…

It’s all that country music and Hallmark movies, makes them act like this.

    6. Im sure they only used the word “abused” because one kids is a girl. Conservatives love to cheer on young boys being raped by adult women. They get off on that sick ass dynamic.

Worked with this kid who hooked up with his teacher in high school. I knew because someone showed me the news article a year after the story broke. I asked him if he was good and if he ever wanted to talk about it. I will never forget he said. “Dude… I was 17, she was 23, I fk’d her brains out and now she’s in prison. Who traumatized who?”

    8. I’ve definitely seen an uptick in this… or an uptick in them getting caught. Not sure which.

Not so hot for teacher, then? When I was a kid, boys lusting after young female teachers was a running joke….

NYP calling this “sex” is not surprising considering that they called CSAM “Kiddie Porn” once.

    11. Im fascinated by the psychology of this. Id bet a not insignificant number of women who do this are reliving their high school years and finally getting the attention of high school boys they never got in HS. They use their experience and power over the boys to abuse said dynamic.
