The reaction time of the people supposed to be protecting her was embarrassing.

    2. It was a Bersa Lusber 84.

It didn’t fire as it wasn’t racked, and thus did not have a chambered round.

      User error saved her life.

I’m not a particularly religious person in any way, that might give me a belief in some higher power.

Aaaaaand….people video it instead of helping. Nice.

I know, he/she was already recording, but could have stopped and helped.

Looks more like a publicity stunt than an assassination attempt lol.

Irrespective of the condition of carry, one up or not…

From the way he mashed the trigger with no thought to alignment that could have ended up as non fatal but extremely horrific.

Siempre que tratan de matar a un político corrupto el arma falla o el disparo no es letal

Terrible handling of the gun, I mean I know these guys assassinating are rarely trained professionals but jesus he was shaking so much even if it had shot he’d probably somehow shoot himself.

Further context: calling her “the vp” greatly diminishes her importance in argentinian politics. She was president two times, after her husband was president too. She reasonably held the same or more power than the president she was vp to. Argentina has a vast core of people who both demonize her and idolize her. And shes part of the peronist movement which is similarly extremely polarizing. But on top of thst Crostina is deeply polarizing within the peronist movement itself.
