It is disgusting that Trump has politicized the DOJ.

Everyone who voted for him should be ashamed of what they’ve enabled.

      I don’t get this.

Rhodes was convicted (May 2023) and got 18 years. So the charges already can’t be brought again.

Trump commuted his sentence. So the sentence stands but the punishment is shortened.

Doesn’t a judge have to sign off on dismissal with prejudice?

Never forget that this clown dropped his own gun and shot himself in the eye

The law doesn’t matter anymore. The next President can rearrest him and ship him to Kyrgyzstan. Republicans need a nice taste of their own medicine.

Welp, looks like america is quickly moving back towards street justice

I wonder if there’s a single Judge left with the intestinal fortitude to say No.

The DOJ has pretty consistently gone lighter in Nazis than anyone else.

The mask is just off now.

The DOJ is all about pleasing the master. He needs these fucks out and free to do his bidding for the 2028 election.

    9. Yeah, this was going to happen. When Trump ran the second time the goal was to shield him personally and his foot soldiers who’d done/do his bidding from any consequences.

    10. Traitors all. These pardons should be ignored by all future administrations

10 bucks says he will end up on some type of important board or given some type of important job that he will
      Be unqualified for.

We as a nation fucked up royal… all you non voters fuck you. Seriously all you would Kamala be better yes and also fuck you.

We are living in a declining nation. Where White criminals get away with storm our capital and are now vying for a piece of billions of dollars

Trump really wants to make sure that his civilian military is good and loyal before the elections this year. “Stand back and stand by” indeed

    13. OH! BUT BIDENS DOJ DIDN’T MOVE FAST ENOUGH SO WE GIVE POWER TO THE GUY WE WANTED PROSECUTED FASTER – voters/non-voters 🙄🙄🙄

We successfully survived the first attack because he didn’t have cronies and sycophants, voters decided to give him another bite at the apple.

When the law fails to hold people accountable, people need to take it into their own hands.

That man could not look more like a stereotypical villain if he tried, all he needs is a twisty mustache.

    16. So here’s the thing, it has always worked to protect the rich and well connected. You’re just now seeing what it’s like to be on the wrong side of this machine.

Serious question – sedition charges cannot be charged again for that evidentiary package? But if he does it again a completely new effort, he could be charged?

They’re being cued up for another insurrection. Sad pathetic country. 🙄

    19. This is authoritarian bullshit and is a complete abrogation of our Constitution.

If someone were to ask me, I would say that something is being prepared… There are elections coming up soon in the USA. Maybe…

    21. The DOJ still works for “the” people………Just depends on *the* people and which ones they are told to work for.

    22. AuthorityAnarchyYes on

I’m assuming these were Federal charges… Could they be charged by the local DC authorities?
