    1. Personally much prefer these – sick of these digital screens that switch to something different when I’m trying to order something.

I spent far too long trying to work out exactly what you meant by “manual menu screens” here. Its like calling a book a “manual Kindle screen”.

      You kids 🙂

    3. You mean…menus? And you have to interact with a human to order your food?!🤯
      (🤔…“food.”)

……what do you mean? I haven’t been inside a Macdonald in a long time. If not menus like this then what?

That’s not a screen that’s a paper menu behind plastic that you crank it from the bottom or side (depending) and it makes the next menu show.

    6. Is this the location that’s the first in Germany? They might have kept the older design as a gimmick.

    7. That’s because Munich is like a village that didn’t keep up with time. Lived there for some time and it felt like traveling back in time compared to other German cities.

    8. Airport restaurant? Possibly since it’s more expensive, it’s not mainstream

This is pretty normal in Asia still, they even flip them for the breakfast menu

    10. Honestly, in Germany, I’d be surprised if they let you pay by card at that location

    11. There is a McDonalds in Luxembourg that never got the rebound too, its still yellow as ever!

Give me the good old brown and white text.
I want a menu to stay still long enough so I can see what its showing me while i am trying to decide what to order.

I went into a McDonalds for the first time in years. No one at the counter and three ordering stations separate. I’d love to walk in and see that.

Companies need to get back to these. Sick of the wired carousel of food which always fucks off the minute I am due to order.

I would accept static digital screens as I accept that it’s easier to change over menus etc.
