Wow it’s like they were insulted by your request…

One would think a hospital, of all places, could accommodate dietary restrictions

Big choice to make. To you go for the bread sandwich or the bread filled roll?

    3. Yeah I guess totally vegan food is not that common in hospitals, I bet they use eggs and dairy products and have vegetarian options. Especially if you make the request on arrival/when “ordering” the food and they have no time to prepare (if they even do that at all – my guess is they say “then bring your own food”)

Brown for first course, white for pudding. Brown’s savoury, white’s the treat. Of course, I’m the one who’s laughing, because I actually love brown toast.

Where are you OP? Because this would absolutely be a normal lunch (if a bit plain) in the Netherlands.

They could at least have saved you some oatmeal from breakfast.

OH man, that looks really good right now.

A side of some broth to dip them in…. Mmmmmmmmm

    9. Yo is that a bread sandwich from Pete’s? I like a piece of sourdough on top, piece of sourdough on bottom and a nice piece of wheat in the middle.

“What are we doing for the vegans today boss?”

“Well, for the main let’s go with a bread sandwich. We’ll do a side of bread, and as a treat, we’ve got a nice crusty bread roll”

    11. as someone who likes bread, i approve 👍

not a fan of the hard toasted dry crispy breads though. i like mine fresh and still warm, then i’d eat that bad boy just like that. mmm…. nice….
