The only way to have a 2028 election is to win the house and senate, and impeach, charge people who are planning a 2028 coup. Aka all maga republicans

So, legit question: how exactly do we see that working? Suppose Trump does announce in 2028 that the elections are cancelled. No way in hell states like California, New York, Michigan, and Washington will play along. I also don’t see Representatives or Senators from either party who are up for re-election in 2028 playing along either, as it throws them under the bus too. I also don’t think Trump has enough sway to influence the Military to try and enforce an election cancellation.

There is A LOT to be fearful about Trump and his grabs for power; I don’t think this scenario is one to be that concerned about…

Good luck. Two on going wars wasn’t enough to cancel 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020.

I saw it coming as soon as he found out that’s what Zelensky is doing because of the war with russia.

    5. lol when the “jewish space lasers” idiot says something that plays into your narrative, suddenly she’s OK

These morons who say “Trump is a dictator” and “he’s not going to leave office” are on par with flat earthers

“I say all this shit months/years late, becuase no one in my base would ever hear it from a leftist.”

She’s always a day late and 20 million dollars long. Another reason I hate her

You guys don’t understand. We need Trump in office because without him all of this can be resolved like civil adults and we don’t want that.

Nah, he won’t do it, Vance might though. Multiple Big Macs and fries everyday is not a heart-healthy meal option.

That little joke aside, there is currently no way for a president to cancel an election.

Yeah, no fucking shit. Most of us have known this before he got his second term.

All I can say is that we can’t let that happen. My fellow American patriots, can’t allow that to happen.

Wait, are we all crazy now? Agreeing with MTG was not on my list

Well, states run elections, not the federal government. We had elections during World War II and the Civil War, so there is no justification that Trump can give to cancel elections.

Trump has been claiming the war in Iran will be over soon…very soon, ending rather quickly…for months now.

Imagine he tries to cancel elections because the war that was going to be over very quickly has dragged on til 2028.
