I’m sure he gave her a few helpful pointers on set but I think most of JF’s talent was developed though hard work, drive and personal motivation.
That being said, **it’s never a bad thing to complement, praise on share success with your co-workers.** If your entire production isn’t successful, you won’t be successful. And if you try to take all the credit, you’ll just look like a dick. No surprise she went to Direct and Produce.
