Limited run that they’re trying to get rid of because they have new flavors to stock

When you get a 0.01 price change, you are supposed to remove the product from the floor not put the tag up.

Usually, this is meant to signal to the employees to pull the product from the shelves. Its not actually meant to be posted.

They put ice cream on a unrefreshed shelf at your supermarket?
Edit: sure downvote me, i asked as icecream are usually in a island square freezer in the middle of the supermarket

What flavor is “Seasonal”?
Sounds like they were trying to liquidate the “eggnog” or “easter bunny” flavors.

Looks like a manager told an employee “just change the pricing tag” and never explained that a $0.01 price means to pull the item

This is so stupid and yes I am very high but now I want to write a story about Penny Haagen-Dazs, the canine heir to the Haagen-Dazs family fortune

1 cent items like this indicate its a seasonal item to be rotated out or a recalled item. Not to be sold.

I was at Whole Foods once and they had their full size packs of Tates Chocolate Chip Cookies marked 50 cents. I bought 10 packs and it felt like highway robbery. I went back the next week and they were back up to their normal price of $6.99. I have no idea why they were priced so low for just one week, but I was not about to pass it up.

RIP the cashier’s when people bring up loads of ice cream saying it was all behind that one price tag.

The store takes the hit on this right? Not the company? Otherwise I wouldn’t normally buy a Nestle product, but would gleefully do so if Nestle takes the hit.

Ooh what grocery store? Their coffee ice cream is my JAM!

This is printed on the shelf strip and was an error, they should have printed a new label which would have shown the true price

So… It’s 5 cents, then?

I used to work with a nerdy guy who would base his lunch choices on how many calories he got per cent. His head would explode if he saw this.
