Weird and wonderful concept from 1971 . From NASA moonbase study documents by Rockwell / NAA . Its pressurized Lunar Rover/prime mover/ land train.
It was supposed to be a part of truly impressive mission architecture, with end goal being big, permanent scientific base, that would send long duration self contained surface research expeditions in form of "land trains" towed by this here vehicle.
