Order a nice shiny new hard cover from Amazon and put that in your Antiques Roadshow 401k.
I have one in my school library too, I was more excited than the kids when I noticed lol

That’s a genuinely cool find, my kid’s preschool teacher has one too and apparently Carle used to do school visits back in the day so it might actually be worth something if you ever want to sell it.
Weren’t these printed this way? Ie it’s not really signed, just printed to look that way
