Man, I really miss Robert Fisk. Would love reading his articles.
For those interested, his book ‘The Great War Civilisation – The Conquest of the Middle East’ is amazing and definitely worth a read if you’re remotely interested in middle eastern history. It’s a mammoth of a book but it chronicles the travels of one of the best foreign correspondents in recent times.
Really worth reading Fisk’s book, The Great War for Civilisation. I think he was the only person in the west to interview him three times.
