God I hate her ADS. All they do is insult our intelligence.
Apparently there’s a shortage of voice actors if every company only has 1 source to go to.
I loathe how so many of the podcasts I listen to now use professionally produced ads that all have the same fake-happy-voice-with-a-smile. It sucks compared to hearing the hosts do their own reads. Those sounded like real people. But with DAI, that is almost certainly a thing of the past.
Fortunately there is still a working “skip” button.
I was subbed to her YouTube for like 2 years, but recently unsubbed because most of her recent videos are clickbaity. Interesting gal and some neat content, but I think she just ran out of things to talk about.
So nice to have a face to put the annoying voice at the stupid CVS and Family Fare self check-outs.

Huh I always assumed quite a few of those were machine produced speech. Why put so much effort into sounding unhuman while using a human??
