Dude. Violent responses to worker strikes existed before Communism or the 20th century.

It’s crazy how useful technology that is completely unrelated to human suffering often ends up causing untold deaths in a completely unforeseeable way. Like we come up with refrigeration, and we figure out how to scale it up to the point where we can use it for international shipping, objectively a good thing right? Literally just keeps shit fresh so a lot of people who didn’t have access to fresh fruit and vegetables now do. Cut to almost immediately after that technology was made practical, like not even 5 years later, and the end result is one of the most barbaric and cruel slave states that the world has ever seen. Goddamn it humanity, why couldn’t we just like have cold milk in our houses, why is it always insane cruelty and/or death.

Never ask a Tankie what happened to peasants protesting the seizure of their land or grain during collectivisation.

> Life hack: if workers strike, then they’re tankies and it’s ok to shoot them
And if you don’t like your neighbour call them nazi’s and invade.
Both are timeless classics these days

Naming a clothing brand “Banana Republic” is one of the more overtly gross celebrations of colonial-capitalism…

Remember when Kaiser Wilhelm acted like a true communist and ordered to burn the houses of mine owners who didn’t want to comply with the miners demands?
