    2. I love how the japanese were so ignorant in WW2. The loss at midway was predicted during a wargame in May 1942 even with the loss of most carriers to US-Forces. However, senior commanders, notably Admiral Matome Ugaki, overruled these results and forced the game to a “win,” setting the stage for the actual battle’s surprising, similar defeat.
