Honestly, fuck the hacienda for what they did to her public image. The damage is probably more than double what they ended up paying, triple even.

    2. Spain will never pay, their economy in the toilet and their goverment is corrupt.

    3. She was ‘charged’ for commuiting fraud during 4 years (possibility of up to 3 years in prison) she admitted fraud in 3 of those and paid the fine (avoiding potential prison sentence).

She went to court for the remaining year and she has won because IRS could only prove that she was 163 days in Spain when the rule says it should be 183.

Good for her if it’s true, but…

    4. You know that she is a millionaire, that should be in jail. You and I would be in there, but she paid not to and then gets 60 mil from the tax payers money because of a technicality. Should I be happy or what?

It should be noted that the taxes she “owed” was not only incorrect, but massively overinflated, as the retroactively applied new tax laws to the years they claimed she owed. For example, if they passed a new tax law in 2022, they applied it to her 2018 tax filing, plus interest and penalties.

Most comedians tell jokes through some kind of made up story that they craft with a clever punchline. The problem is that Shakira’s hips have a no lying policy, so I don’t know how well she will do as a comedy act.

I mean, good for her and all, but in the end its another mulit-millionaire evading taxes because the rules have very special exemptions.

I dont get the excitement, she was there, she earned a shitload of money, pay your taxes… Or am i missing something?
