I have several large ones and it really disturbs me. I wish I had small spread apart ones ðŸ˜

Anybody else immediately start looking at their arms seeing if they have it too?

How often do you have your blood drawn or had IVs?

Ive got a few keloid scars from mine

I’m an altruistic blood donor and have these sorts of scars, too, but only one one arm. It’s funny, because they use the same gage needle for drawing samples as for donation, so you get needles in on both sides every time.

Me too!! Both arms

Oh boy I get those too, time to find out what that means about my health

I hear ya! I’ve been routinely phlebotomized for 53 years now and the little pinhole scars make it look like I’m actually a drug addict. Also, all my blood vessels are extremely fragile. I was in the hospital for 10 days and had to have 3 IV ports due to my blood vessels bursting. Sigh.

Huh, never noticed them. I’ve got three scars.

Ive been building a collection of them myself. My ketamine nurse misses more than hits. Her record is 5x before she hit it right.

I only have a couple from donating blood.

I’ve got 2 big ones on my left from getting blood taken every 3 months. Strangely they mostly use my right arm which has no holes.

Ohhh, that’s what they are! I noticed mine only recently. I thought they were pores, which didn’t really make sense given they’re restricted to such a small area.
Thank you, OP! Mystery solved.

I have a bunch. The last time I had blood drawn, the nurse said, “Oh, look at all your little trackmarks!” I fucking hate her.

Used to do plasma donation. 3x a week blood draws, they’d pay me so it was worthwhile. I had a nasty little scar in my arm from that for a long while. It’s still there but not as noticeable now.

Mine has turned into one big (considering they are needles) scar. For now they are still going through it just fine. It’s a better vein than my others. I have bloodwork every 6 weeks from one dr and my other drs randomly require bloodwork, plus I’ve had a lot of surgeries and procedures.

I used to sell my blood to science so I am FULL of these

I have them too! I was born 10 weeks premature and have a congenital heart defect so I grew up having needles and IVs done multiple times

I have them too! I was born 10 weeks premature with a congenital heart defect and spent many years having IVs put in and getting needles and surgeries.

I have these too, but slightly larger from regular blood donations 🙂

As someone with an irrational insane fear of getting my blood taken this makes me want to throw up

I have one tiny slit type scar on my hand from a gnarly IV, but I never realized I had these too! I also have chronic illnesses, but my skin is very pale so I couldn’t see them without looking super close.
