      I know I will never have the money for one but this is genuinely the reason I will never buy one even if I have the money. This gives me the ick but for cars /s

    6. It’s because when the engine is creating torque, it rotates slightly due to opposite and equal force pushing against the engine mounts. When it does, it will be aligned. It’s more important that it’s aligned when making power than when off or idling.

      A lot of engines are offset some to accommodate steering shafts, brake boosters, or awd/4wd drivetrain.
