I mean, it’s not going great, and the earlier seasons were definitely better. But I reserve my judgement on whether the ending is actually good or bad until it actually ends. It’s weird seeing so many people complaining about the ending of something that hasn’t ended.

Hey, Il take mediocre terrible s5 over disturbing messed up s4 any day. That had a guy get raped, stabbed, threatened to get raped in his stab wound and then the whole incident gets laughed off. God I wish I never watched s4. They were so stuoid that season that hughie after getting betrayed multiple times and finally defeating the traitor, decides to trust the traitor again and potentially doom all of them.

my hot take is that it never was that good. It’s always beenmid. Imo there is not a lot different from this season compared to others. So I don’t understand why people are mad.my problem with the boys is its purely disgusting for literally no reason but to get reactions. It’s like 15 year boy humor where they willbe moaning in the hallway.

Honestly at this point, especially since they cancelled Gen V, there’s no way they can meaningfully wrap up this story in a measly hour long episode. So therefore I’m low key just rooting for Homelander to fucking kill everyone and win, because any outcome that has the good guys prevailing is going to feel cheap.

I have a theory that no show should last more than 3-4 seasons. Typically seems like they all peak around 3, then fall off a cliff.

I struggled through season 4, and I’ve been up and down about season 5 – it’s had some good moments – but the most recent episode was officially the moment I gave up hope that it would end with any kind of impact.
