To counter freshwater physic just drop a shitton of salt in it. Easy peasy.

Also keep in mind that Superior is comparable in size to the island of Ireland which means that your thought process needs to be closer to that for a sea than that for a lake.

    4. I somehow suspect the med alone has had more shipwrecks, given its been traversed for about 10,000 years.

The National weather service was created largely because of how many storms were sinking ships on the Great Lakes.

I once crossed a Great Lake and it was a bit scary. 45 mph winds and 10 foot waves.

It’s hard for people who have never lived around the Great Lakes to appreciate just how absolutely enormous and dangerous they can be. Even the term “lake” is a bit of a misnomer, because they make other lakes look like ponds in terms of size and volume.

They’re more like fresh water seas.

    8. Yes,,,, “Superior, it’s said, never gives up her dead when the games of November come early.”
