My grandfather sometime in the 1960’s representing his brother’s Chevrolets in Detroit.

My dad’s uncle owned Joe May Chevrolet in Detroit for about forty years and my grandfather got a new car to drive weekly. The riots hit the streets where my dad and the family lived in 1967, so things started to get difficult.

In 1968, my grandfather slipped on ice, had hip surgery and moved the family to Los Angeles in 1969 to never deal with snow or ice again.
