      Europe naming cities for centuries and we still out here calling everything New something.

      How many New Cities were named that before independence though? Pretty sure Europeans named most of them on the east coast anyway.

    3. Kitchener, Ontario, Canada was originally called “New Berlin” but was renamed to Kitchener, named after the heinous General, during WW1

      Europeans named those cities.

    6. They didn’t even bother to add “New” in some cases. I’m looking at you, Cambridge, MA.
