It’s taken me some time to realize this, but in this country “white male republican” is the default position, we only elect Dems when the country is an absolute mess
American politics is the extrapolation of a broken home where the father is just an immature adult, but hes fun so the kids like him more, but the mom is really keeping all the things running with no love

Biden administration had a tough task that it managed quite well. But you can’t watch his debate performance and think he was good to go. I watched that and my heart sank because I knew at that point the country was fuxxored. This is not to say that Orange Julius Caesar was/is more mentally stable, because he’s definitely not.

Problem with Biden administration, they never flatly told people what he represented. Trump made a very clear what he represented. If you don’t tell people what you represent then your opponent tell them what you represent.

Yeah nah, Biden deciding to go for reelection was a huge mistake and a large part of why Trump one. Kamala was never well liked and largely considered to be inauthentic and uninspiring.
He had a decent first few years then they all decided to hide how badly the stress and age was affecting him- like everyone saw his awful debate performance

Look I’m all for hating on Trump but I am not going to glaze Biden either… he totally rolled back wellfare positions that were put in place during covid, continued onto reelection despite being deeply unpopular and quite old, and also is just as complicit in the genocide in Gaza.
But he’s certainly better than Trump. What a high bar.
