
Found in an old eBay photo album. I don’t know who they were, but this whole album is full of unusually candid early-1900s moments. This one shows a woman reading a letter while another dabs her eye with a tissue, and I am desperate to know what it said.

Lady in back has some hangers.
I think this is not candid, it’s a staged photo for fun. 1905ish and a photo taken at a low angle-maybe they had a Kodak brownie?
She’s dabbing her eyes from laughing too hard at a dick sketch sent to her friend.

Love the pic but this looks pretty staged. Where’s the desk with the envelope and other paperwork? Why would they take a single opened letter outside to read, with only one of them seated?
