UNLESS your scalp / hair tends oily, guess what… those fancy shampoos are accellerating your hairloss.
Most shampoos, even ‘anti dandruff’ ones, have sodium laureth sulphate in them. This is a surfactant (foaming agent). They put the same stuff in dishwasher tablets, toothpaste, clothes washing powder, washing up liquid. Then you rub it into your scalp, and wonder why your scalp is flaking / hair thinning!
Switch to baby shampoo (or something without SLS, often hard to find). Wash hair twice (or once if the first application goes foamy) every 3 days.

That’s because androgenic hair loss is caused purely by genetics. Sure you can either accelerate it or slow it down with lifestyle factors, but it’s still genetics.

I accidentally used body wash in my hair recently instead of conditioner, because I’m both stupid and exceptionally tired, and later my partner commented on how smooth my hair felt.
I felt betrayed by my conditioner.

I know this isn’t the point but Minoxidil works well for at least 50% of men experiencing male pattern hair loss- no fancy shampoo or conditioner could ever compete… the first guy is not making the most informed choices…

It also helps not being a white man as we experience the highest rates of male pattern baldness.

Hot water and shitty shampoo make your hair fall out. Hot water opens your pores, then you tug on your hair with harsh chemicals.
I cooled the water and bought shampoo that had ingredients I could pronounce. Hair grew back.

Removing your hair’s natural oils too often will weaken it
