No no no, the immunity only applies to bloated sacks of shit of course, SCOTUS only made their overlord immune.  /s

      Correction: They gave Republicans immunity.

They took away the immunity of any Democrat holding office, effectively, for the same crime. As the wording of the enabling ruling they made keeps the definition of an “official act” vague enough to where the case would always get kicked back to the Supreme Court.

That July was a soft coup. And they got away with it because we allowed it.

    7. SCOTUS gave sitting presidents immunity from prosecution. You can absolutely charge presidents with crimes they committed in office, after they leave office.

Thats entirely how trump was convicted between his 1st and 2nd term.

So as it stands, if a sitting president commits a crime you must impeach, THEN charge them.

Can’t they just create a bogus reason? Like the other day when they were going that he violated the Logan Act or something

Do you really think hypocrisy gives republicans pause?

Here’s the thing, they gave “official” acts immunity.

And people have allowed them to define what is official without any push back.

    10. No, the scotus made “official acts” above the law, and that they get to decide what counts as an official act.

That way, Republicans get immunity, dems get treason charges. Still waiting to hear what the dem plan is about this, because right now it seems “become a small opposition party” is the plan.

For some reason I think the SCOTUS would change their mind on this “ruling” if given the chance.
