It’s kind of interesting how we don’t really have super models anymore. We have super influencers and spokesmodels. And there are an infinite amount of models now, OF being an easy example of anything you want, but the Supermodel as a type really was at it’s peak in the late 80s through 90s. Imo.

Cindy was promoted as a less problematic Gia Carangi when she first debuted. I can realy see the resemblance in some of these pics, especially 2, 6, and 8

First pic reminds me of her capture scene in her very first movie, Fair Game (1995). Same outstretched arms, similar white crop top further hiked up by her pose, same warm orange glow on her skin. Maybe this is the photo that later inspired them to shoot this scene.
The only woman to surpass her in my eyes is Kathy Ireland.

As a kid of the 80’s of course I’m a huge fan. My last birthday we were finishing up at a restaurant and my wife goes, “oh did you see Cindy Crawford she was sitting right behind you the whole time” I’m like WTF no?! You weren’t going to tell me? She’s like “oh I thought you saw her”. 😆
