I swear its like some viruses have a… mechanism? Like a cordyceps does (the fungus in The Last of Us), which when it infects an invertebrate it takes over their body and makes them go up trees etc so that when they die the spores release and spread further…
I would not be at all surprised if some viruses have the same mechanism for humans. Get sick, better travel around, spread the love.
