One of my most prized family photos because of the era in my family that it represents. Coming out of the Great Depression and into the War years, my Grandad was a 7th-generation farmer, but was hired by the local railroad company, this year. He retired from that company 35 years later. Granddad is holding my dad, my uncle is standing facing away. Little girl in the photo, "Bette," is not known to me. The car seems to be a Ford coupe, known for its split rear window.

      Love these photos. This one is more white & black than b&w though lol. But really it’s so cool how these men would take pictures with the things they were most proud of – his kids and his car. You know this was a solid guy. He knows how to hold a baby and that’s a real smile. On him and on the baby. This is priceless.
