Conclusion: My pay progressed faster than normal and I change jobs quicker than normal. I think this proves that job hopping is the way to get paid more in 2026

      Data Source:
10k careers across Tech, Finance, Consulting

      Methodology:

Careers were pulled from Linkedin and modelled out with a graph database so that I could track the progression between jobs and employers. Salaries are layered on top of the base dataset using an AI inference engine. I then built in some cohort building hierarchies so that if my mates wanted their own stats they would get a dynamically built comparison.

Any questions / feedback let me know, its been a really fun project 😄

In conclusion, this graph I made objectively shows that I am cooler and more successful than you 😎

How many jobs have you had if you change jobs on average every 1.1 years lol

I think you are not counting your current job length if your income history is 4 years
