Portuguese vs Dutch in Brazil, we kick out the Dutch but have to pay war reparations to them.

    3. Calling it a world war while only looking at the Atlantic is the ultimate main character energy.

Not really about the Seven Years War itself, but when you look at the actual population of people living in the Latin American and African theatres, it’s not that unreasonable.

I think people have an ahistorical understanding of the relative populations of continents.

Asia is much larger and populous than Europe as always – Europe is a mere archipelago of the same continent. So it is underrepresented.

Even now, 60% (the majority) roof humans live on the single continent of Asia.

But Africa and Latin America back in 1750 were a mere 83M and 16M respectively. Europe was 122M in comparison, excluding the CIS regions which are an additional 34M.

    6. You think that’s messed up? The final battle of the American Revolutionary War was fought off the coast of India.
