When they say what they want, you’d better believe they’re going to try. Be ready.

    2. These aren’t jokes.

These aren’t said out of context.

      This isn’t locker room talk.

These fuckers want to to make it so 50+ million people can no longer participate in federal elections.

When they say they are afraid of whites becoming a minority, it’s because they know *they* treat minorities like shit and are afraid of having it done to *them*.

      Fuck these people.

    3. The hardest part for me is that I literally cannot imagine being that racist. I don’t even know where I would begin to even consider that a possibility. I see it here, and the only thing I can seem to manage is “holy shit how do people think like that”.

Judicial review is the process of determining if laws are constitutional, not if an element of the Constitution is lawful

There is no *overturning* an amendment to the Constitution by any means other than another amendment (e.g., Prohibition)

Even if he weren’t evil, this motherfucker is too ignorant of basic civics to be in a position of leadership

Until we hear other republicans speak out against this, we can assume ALL republicans are equally racist.

A court can’t overturn an amendment. A new one can only replace it. This fucker is as stupid as he is clearly racist.

This sounds like something that should disqualify him from his position.

So, the SCOTUS is supposed to make a former POTUS and two sitting SCOTUS Justices no longer citizens? ARE WE JOKING?

Ending birthright citizenship will be a mess, and ruin the US Constitution.

I think he might be talking about overturning birthright citizenship.

    10. We really need to remember that a lot of these older judges and politicians were in school when there was still segregation. The racism didn’t dissappear.

    11. They can’t overturn an amendment, it’s settled. But then again you never know with these freaks.

The black community: hey remember when Obama got elected y’all said racism was over?

    13. You cannot coexist with people who see you as less than human. Just wont work, gotta eradicate those types.

It’s also what established birthright citizenship. Not to give any of these assholes the benefit of the doubt, but he’s probably referring to that.

    15. It’s also the equal protection clause.

They’ll come for the black people, sure. But this is a fantasy about a fully hierarchical society where they can come for anyone. Race, sex, sexuality, nationality, beliefs, anything. Classes of citizens: they would make so many.

    16. It’s a good thing that technically, SCOTUS can’t do that. But that relies on rule of law holding out, and that seems less and less likely these days.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, guess what else the 14th amendment does? It prohibits anyone who engaged in insurrection from holding public office and enshrines the right to due process. Funny how extremely important this amendment is, and how it is apparently anathema to racist asshole insurrectionist xenophobes who claim to love the constitution.
