Olin was a WWII (Pacific) vet who’d returned home and met my MIL in 1947. Married in 1948 they were together until his death 2006. My MIL was a very proud of the house they purchased in 1949 and that she lived in until she passed in 2019. The couple next to them were lifelong friends.
