My kids are planning on doing that too. Why not move to a country that’s gonna pay for your education and healthcare?

      America sucks

Luck seekers, go back where you came from.

      Ah they are,

Give back the American continent to the native people.

    3. In most European universities, foreign students still have to pay tuition fees, to be fair that is still significant lower than the ones in the USA.

    4. By the way this is a terrible headline from CNN. The only two countries with free college for foreigners are Germany and Norway. Both only apply to state schools and most programs will be in their native language.

UK is very expensive. Netherlands is about $11k a year for tuition. Belgium is around 5k. France varies. Spain is 3k but all good schools are private or in Spanish. Italy is also a few thousand but again, most good programs are in Italian. Denmark, Sweden and Finland are all around 10k a year. Switzerland’s state undergraduate programs are in French/German. Austria has very limited options but is very cheap for the options that are available (mostly business).

This is all off the top of my head so some numbers depend on schools or could be slightly off.

So studying in Europe isn’t the free pass that CNN is acting like it is. Cheaper? Certainly (though CoL can be quite high).
