To be fair, there were mostly Panzer 1’s and literal training equipment. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a big achievement. I just think it’s fairly easy to outmanuover a tank on a horse. Close the distance -> open the hatch -> throw a grenade

Polish cavalry was always badass. Kept lancers alive in the era of pike-and-shot.

You should think twice before going against polish hussars, they have somewhat legendary reputation.

    4. It’s important to note since I don’t think anyone else has yet, The polish didn’t literally charge tanks on horseback, they were used as highly mobile mounted infantry That were cheaper for the Military compared to using trucks. When they got to a fight they would dismount there horses and fight like regular Infantry. The same basic formula was used by multiple other nations including the Germans themselves.

I dont think people here understand the concept of cavalry in WW2, they would still fight on foot and use horses to get from point A to B. This is one of the handful battles Poland won against Germany during their brief war, horses had no special role in it
