      Well, i was invited and my parents let me go. My mom also told everything to everyone, including that i have a neurodivergent diagnosis, which in a small town like where i live means, stay away it might be contagious

      The end result was the same

      The funny thing is my parents haven’t even noticed. For some reason they don’t question why I don’t have any friends or leave the house.

      That’s genuinely what happened with me.

      I wasn’t allowed over at anybody’s house, no parties or anything, not allowed to have friends over for most of my childhood and teen years. Then my mom asks when I’m going to get a girlfriend.
